Prayer Life

Prayer Life.  The life that you now (born again), live in the flesh, you live by/on/through the faith of the Son of God.

Prayer Life -- speaks to communing, as in daily living/breathing with your Heavenly Father-Creator/Mother-Spirit/Brother-Savior 24/7 - every day of your new life.

Being born again begins your spirit life, anew.  It doesn't matter how old you were/are in giving your life to Christ, and receiving God's salvation through Jesus -- you begin your new spirit life as a babe.  Now, I know some of you do not want to go here.  I mean you are an adult, and you work, (have children or not), and do all the things that 'adults' do -- yes?

So what am I talking about?

The spirit, new and born within you begins as a babe.  Which is why so many people go to churches and become involved and are very happy.  It isn't until months or years later that they are aware that something is missing.  They still get excited, but nothing has really changed in their lives.  They still do the same dumb things, and come and get forgiveness and stop for a while and then bam!  It's back.  I refer to these people as babes in adult clothing.     They still need to grow and know.

Prayer life is ongoing as long as we are on this earth (and maybe after!).  Getting new life is not a wham, bam, thank you thing.  It begins and continues 24/7.  You are connected, and you can choose to become aware of who you are and whose you are --- which is why the gift of the Holy Spirit is provided -- for you -- if you ask for it -- so you can be aware of who you are and whose you are!

Called to Do...

Intercession: Step 1 - Know Who You Are and Whose You Are

Before you begin to train in (as to do) intercession, it is important, VERY IMPORTANT to know Who You Are and Whose You are.

1.  Who You Are - Through new birth (being born again) you are a Child of God, a Chosen generation, a Royal priesthood, an Anointed one of God, a peculiar person - called out of darkness into light, to be a light in this world (of darkness). (Jhn f1:12; 1Pet 2:9)

2.  Whose You Are - If you have been born again, You are God's Child, Jesus Christ's brother/sister, Holy Spirit's follower into all Truth.  In other words you are God's through and through (Jhn 1:12; Ro. 8:14, 29)

These are truths that we live in and move in and have are beings in, day in and day out - 24/7.  We do not ever arrive either in our being children of God or in our gifts or callings -- we are always learning and growing; being conformed to the image of the anointed one - Christ.

The more we grow the humbler we become.  The more we know God loves us, the  more we enter into the true 'fear' of the Lord God Almighty.  Psalm 23 states a truth for us as we enter into the calling/gift of intercession - read it in different translations and meditate on God's love, grace, goodness, mercy, peace and joy!

Beginning . . .

Intercession:  Just what does it mean?

We need to define intercession so we can be on the same page, even tho' we 'do' intercede uniquely.

1.  Intercession is a level of communion, of communing personally with our Abba, and sharing with one another as well.

*We begin as babes - crying out which let's our holy parents know we have need of milk, water cleansing, we begin to move and to discover new life.

* Then we grow and need food, water, cleansing and continue to grow, move discover, know.

*We grow and can begin to discuss things and ask questions of our holy parents.

*We develop our unique personal skills in in 'living' the prayer life, 'doing' the prayer, in being able to pray for ourselves and others. -- supplications

*We mature/graduate into intercession

+ Living, moving, being, walking in Love,

+ picking up our cross daily,

+ warring against the enemies of our soul,

+ and being transformed.

In all of the above we are led by the Holy Spirit into the  truth and knowledge of God in us, with us, within us, and conntected to us and through us.
